Role Overview
The Platform Architecture team is seeking a highly skilled and visionary AEM Architect to lead the design and evolution of our Martech, Decisioning, and Personalization ecosystem. This is a critical role for a professional who is passionate about the intersection of marketing technology and high-performance software architecture. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and support of platforms that drive customer engagement and personalized experiences at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the analytical depth to solve complex architectural challenges across large, cross-organizational projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
- Define and set architectural standards for Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Analytics, and Personalization (P13N) engines.
- Collaborate with front-end development teams to integrate targeting and personalization features seamlessly into consumer-facing applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that support data movement and engineering workflows.
- Champion CI/CD best practices using tools like GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus to ensure resilient and maintainable codebases.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers while communicating complex technical roadmaps to senior leadership.
- Drive innovation within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks to deliver continuous value to the business.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the IT industry, with a focus on architecture, design, and full-stack development.
- At least 3 years of dedicated architecture experience building scalable Martech and Decisioning platforms.
- Proven expertise in integrating P13N/Targeting with modern front-end applications.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with build and deployment automation (CI/CD) for at least 2 years.
- Strong proficiency in UI stacks including React, Next.JS, Bit, and NX.
- Experience with Adobe Journey Orchestrator and Sanity.io is highly desired.
- SAFe or AEM Certification is a significant advantage.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement at Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA; Long-term contract.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
