Position Summary
Verito Solutions is looking for a dynamic and experienced Instructor Trainer II specializing in ServiceNow to join our project team in Austin, TX. This role is specifically focused on supporting the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in their ongoing digital transformation efforts. As a ServiceNow Instructor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end training lifecycle, from initial strategy and material development to the final delivery of training sessions to a diverse user base. This is a local-only requirement, as it involves significant on-site collaboration and classroom delivery. We are looking for a professional who can translate complex technical workflows into engaging and actionable learning experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in high-level project and team meetings to define training strategies that align with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and operational users to map out workflows and identify specific training needs for different user personas.
- Design and develop a comprehensive suite of training materials, including detailed job aids, user guides, interactive presentations, and online knowledge resources.
- Ensure all training content is strictly compliant with TxDOT processes, quality standards, and accessibility requirements (Section 508).
- Deliver training in multiple formats, including traditional in-person classroom sessions, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and train-the-trainer (T3) programs.
- Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders and trainees to continuously refine and improve training materials and delivery methods.
- Maintain the accuracy and relevance of all training content, ensuring it reflects the latest platform updates and business processes.
- Manage version control and documentation for all training modules, ensuring a consistent and reliable source of truth for users.
- Provide hands-on support during the rollout of new ServiceNow features, helping users navigate the Service Operations Workspace and other modules.
- Develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and user adoption rates.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or operational procedure documentation.
- 5+ years of exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- 5+ years of experience in delivering facilitator-led training and managing train-the-trainer initiatives.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, with specific expertise in Service Operations Workspace, Reporting, and Platform Analytics.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA).
- Previous experience working on large-scale public sector or government projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies.
