Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our remote-first product team. In this role, you will be the voice of the user, conducting deep-dive research to inform the design and development of our software products. You will work at the intersection of design, product management, and engineering, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights that drive innovation. This is a senior role requiring a high degree of autonomy and the ability to influence product strategy through compelling storytelling and data-driven recommendations.
Core Responsibilities
- Research Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the design team to plan generative studies (in-depth interviews, ethnographic observations) and evaluative studies (usability testing, concept validation).
- Insight Generation: Synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable insights. You will be responsible for identifying user pain points and opportunities for product improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to ensure business requirements are integrated into research objectives. You will present findings to senior leadership, ensuring the user’s perspective is central to strategic decisions.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire research lifecycle, from participant recruitment and study design to moderation, analysis, and reporting.
- Methodological Leadership: Apply a variety of research methods, including remote unmoderated testing and survey design, choosing the right tool for each phase of the product development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in UX Research within a fast-paced software development environment.
- Proven track record of conducting both generative and evaluative research.
- Strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of various research methodologies.
- Experience with tools for remote testing, survey platforms, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.

Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
