Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OnBase Developer to join our dynamic technical team for a 6+ month remote contract. This role is critical for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the OnBase platform, specifically focusing on Workflow and Workview modules. As we move into 2026, the demand for integrated, automated document management systems is higher than ever, and this position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge implementations that streamline business processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex OnBase Workflow solutions to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize Workview to create data-driven applications that integrate seamlessly with document management workflows.
- Write and maintain sophisticated Unity scripts using both the Unity API and Automation API to extend platform functionality.
- Perform detailed configuration changes within the OnBase environment, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Develop and manage OnBase-related APIs to facilitate integration with third-party systems and internal applications.
- Design and deploy E-forms and Unity Forms to capture business data and drive decision-making processes.
- Configure and manage OnBase reporting services, providing stakeholders with actionable insights through data visualization.
- Execute configuration migrations and utilize troubleshooting tools such as Workflow Doctor, Diagnostic Console, and Report Services.
- Integrate OnBase with DocuSign to enable secure, digital signature workflows for critical business documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform impact analysis for upstream and downstream application changes.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive development experience with OnBase Workflow and Workview modules.
- Proven proficiency in writing Unity scripts (Unity API and Automation API).
- Sound understanding of OnBase architecture across all clients, including Configuration, OnBase Client, Unity Client, and Web Client.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for database querying and management.
- Specific knowledge of OnBase-DocuSign integration.
- Experience with configuration migration tools and system diagnostic utilities.
- Ability to create and publish OnBase web services and Message Broker solutions.
Soft Skills & Agile Methodology
- Strong understanding of the Agile framework, including active participation in PI planning, Scrum meetings, and Retrospectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working iteratively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation, including technical specifications and requirement gathering.
- Proactive approach to acquiring knowledge in new business domains and application workflows.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
