Role Overview

The Playwright Automation Analyst with QE Expertise is a critical role focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through advanced automation strategies. Located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, this position requires a local candidate who can collaborate effectively with on-site teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end automation lifecycle, from strategy definition to execution and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QE leads to define test strategies.
  • Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex workflows.
  • Optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability across TD QE portfolios.
  • Mentor junior QE associates and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Required Technical Skills

  • Expertise in Playwright for web automation.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of QE principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, cross-browser testing, and performance testing.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year
