Role Overview
The Playwright Automation Analyst with QE Expertise is a critical role focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through advanced automation strategies. Located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, this position requires a local candidate who can collaborate effectively with on-site teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end automation lifecycle, from strategy definition to execution and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QE leads to define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex workflows.
- Optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability across TD QE portfolios.
- Mentor junior QE associates and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Expertise in Playwright for web automation.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of QE principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, cross-browser testing, and performance testing.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year
