Role Overview: OpenText Exstream Architect
We are looking for an experienced OpenText Exstream Architect to lead a high-impact modernization and migration project. In this remote role, you will be the primary architect responsible for transitioning in-house composition capabilities to the OpenText Exstream platform. This project is part of a broader enterprise effort to enhance customer communications management (CCM) through digital transformation. You will design and implement a solution that supports batch, real-time, and interactive communications, including letters, quotes, and proposals, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for our business partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Design the end-to-end solution architecture for OpenText Exstream, focusing on high availability, scalability, and integration with existing enterprise systems.
- Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of the Exstream platform across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Direct a team of internal and partner resources through the implementation phase, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Manage the migration of complex composition templates from third-party vendors to the new Exstream environment, including the redesign of legacy templates for modern delivery.
- Orchestrate publishing tasks and steps, optimizing logging, fault detection, and error handling to ensure system reliability.
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to demonstrate product capabilities and gather detailed requirements for integration and delivery.
Technical Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) with a focus on OpenText Exstream architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with the full Exstream product suite, including Design Manager, Communication Builder, OTDS, Empower, Content Author, and Orchestrator.
- Proven experience with AWS Cloud Platform and integrating CCM solutions within a cloud-native ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of integration points, including Adobe eSign, CRM systems, and custom enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of DevOps concepts to support automated deployment and performance tuning.
- Experience with other CCM products such as xPression, Quadient Inspire, or SmartComm is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $215,000 per year
