Role Overview
Qualmission is seeking a highly experienced Workday Finance Functional Analyst with over 12 years of professional experience to join a high-impact project in Washington, DC. This role requires a deep functional understanding of Workday Financial Management and the ability to configure complex business processes within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP implementations and a proven track record of managing Workday releases, integrations, and functional enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Assets, and Procurement.
- Design and implement Business Process Framework (BPF) configurations to optimize financial workflows and ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage bi-annual Workday releases, including comprehensive regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
- Develop and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Orchestrate, and Core Connectors.
- Facilitate and support the integration between Workday and third-party systems, specifically Coupa, to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
- Provide functional expertise and support to business users, troubleshooting complex system issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance leadership to ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Document functional specifications, system configurations, and training materials for end-users.
- Lead functional workshops and requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders to define the future state of financial systems.
- Oversee the deployment of new Workday features and modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, build, test, and deploy phases.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Financials and Cloud ERP environments.
- Strong knowledge of Workday security roles, reporting, and the Business Process Framework.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning and Coupa is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical configurations.
- Must be an independent candidate (US Citizen or Green Card holder preferred).
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC, with a one-day telework option per week.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
