Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned AWS Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team onsite in Plano, Texas. This role is supporting our client, TCS, and requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise in cloud-native design patterns and the AWS Well-Architected Framework. You will be responsible for defining the architectural direction for enterprise applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly available.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and architect robust infrastructure on the AWS Cloud, focusing on both stateful and stateless application patterns.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the provisioning and management of cloud resources using Terraform or OpenTofu to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire infrastructure lifecycle—Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate—including self-service orchestration and configuration management.
- CI/CD Integration: Implement and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all AWS environments meet stringent security standards and application compliance requirements.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure strategies that align with long-term business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure seamless solution integration and standardization.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years dedicated to AWS Infrastructure setup for enterprise applications.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Required).
- Automation Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Cloud Patterns: Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework, capacity planning, and monitoring.
- Nice to Have: Experience with AI applications/agents, Pulumi, and full-stack development (React/NodeJS).
Managerial & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and standardize methodologies across large organizations.
- Experience assessing the feasibility, complexity, and scope of new technical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Plano, Texas. Client: TCS. Must have AWS Certified Solution Architect certification.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
