Position Summary: Oracle DBA with .NET Development Expertise
Unicorn Technologies LLC is looking for a specialized Oracle Database Administrator who possesses a strong background in .NET application development. This unique hybrid role is located in Juno Beach, FL, and focuses on environments where .NET applications interact deeply with Oracle databases. In the 2026 tech landscape, the integration between data layers and application logic is more critical than ever, requiring a professional who understands both the intricacies of database performance and the nuances of modern data access frameworks.
Core Responsibilities
- Connectivity & Configuration: Manage the installation and configuration of Oracle Client software and ODP.NET drivers (including Managed Driver) across application servers to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Database Administration: Perform traditional DBA tasks including backup, recovery, patching, and schema management. Ensure Oracle patches are applied within 60 days of vendor release.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance specifically for queries generated by .NET applications and frameworks like Entity Framework Core.
- Deployment & Support: Assist development teams with the deployment of .NET stored procedures and functions using the Oracle Deployment Wizard for .NET.
- Monitoring & Compliance: Utilize OEM Agents and Grid Control to monitor production, QA, and test environments. Provide regulatory documentation to meet corporate compliance requirements.
Technical Skill Set
- Mandatory proficiency in Oracle Database Administration and .NET Development.
- Expertise in Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET) and Oracle Developer Tools.
- Experience with stress testing, production releases, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of cloud, automation, and hybrid-cloud skills as they relate to database lifecycles.
- Familiarity with GCS DB Systems and NRT DB standards.

- Collaborate effectively with application teams to create test conditions for expected workloads.
- Provide expert tuning advice and support during critical events and production releases.
- Maintain high standards for all database environments (Test, QA, Prod, and DR).
