Position Overview

Absolute IT is seeking two highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developers with extensive experience in the Telecom domain to join a high-impact project in Middletown, NJ. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite at the client location. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex software solutions that support critical telecommunications infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of large-scale network management systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Design and develop robust, scalable applications using Python and Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Implement and manage complex business processes using Temporal Workflow, a key component of our distributed systems architecture.
  • Network Integration: Leverage deep knowledge of Layer 2, 3, and 4 networking protocols to build applications that interact seamlessly with telecom network hardware and software.
  • Telecom Domain Expertise: Apply industry-specific knowledge to solve complex problems related to network provisioning, monitoring, and management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and product managers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
  • Onsite Presence: Maintain a consistent onsite presence in Middletown, NJ, to facilitate close collaboration with the client and local team members.

Required Technical Skills

  • Programming Languages: Expert proficiency in Python and Java is mandatory.
  • Workflow Engines: Hands-on experience with Temporal Workflow is highly desired and considered a major bonus.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 networking concepts and protocols.
  • Telecom Experience: Recent and relevant experience within the Telecommunications industry is required. Experience with AT&T systems and protocols is a significant advantage.
  • Full Stack Proficiency: Ability to work across the entire application stack, from database management to front-end integration.

Additional Requirements

  • LinkedIn Profile: A valid and updated LinkedIn ID is a mandatory requirement for all applicants.
  • Commute: Candidates must already reside in the area or be able to commute to the Middletown, NJ site every week without exception.
  • Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted virtually, requiring candidates to have a professional setup for video conferencing.
  • Visa Status: This position is open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, and those with GC-EAD, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, OPT-EAD, or TN Visas.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year

Location: Middletown, NJ
