Role Overview
The Kinaxis Solution Consultant will play a pivotal role in transforming supply chain operations for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain planning challenges and the ability to provide expert guidance on implementing Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions. As a consultant, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the Kinaxis platform is optimized to meet complex organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a proven track record of successful software implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and solution architects to develop comprehensive business process designs that leverage the full spectrum of Kinaxis capabilities.
- Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient solutions within the Kinaxis environment.
- Design, build, and configure Kinaxis applications, including workbooks, dashboards, and automation scripts to streamline supply chain workflows.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including configuration, rigorous testing, user training, and seamless knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for developed applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Facilitate workshops to define demand planning, supply planning, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategies.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and best practice guides for all Kinaxis configurations and customizations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that the solution aligns with broader business objectives and delivers measurable value.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 6-8 years of total IT experience within the United States market.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience specifically in the project implementation of Kinaxis solutions.
- Mandatory Certification: Kinaxis Solution Consultant Level 1 or higher.
- Strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning processes, including inventory optimization and capacity planning.
- Proven ability to configure customized solutions in Kinaxis to solve unique business problems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
The Kinaxis Solution Consultant is expected to be a subject matter expert who can guide clients through the complexities of digital supply chain transformation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Kinaxis platform is not just implemented, but fully adopted and utilized to its maximum potential. This involves staying current with the latest Kinaxis product releases and industry trends. You will work in a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged, and your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and agility of global supply chains. The role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to navigate the challenges of modern supply chain planning.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
