Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced MDM Data Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is centered on designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Reltio platform. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and accessibility of master data across the enterprise, particularly within the Life Sciences domain. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex data requirements into scalable technical architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Reltio Implementation: Design and implement complex MDM solutions using the Reltio platform, including Business Model Configuration and Match/Merge rule optimization.
- Data Modeling: Create comprehensive application design documents, including logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams.
- ETL and Integration: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and integrate MDM solutions with Big Data ecosystems and RDBMS platforms.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior development team members and participate in high-level technical discussions with customers.
- Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous code reviews, ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards, and maintain high code quality.
- Legacy Support: Provide business-facing support for legacy Informatica On-Prem MDM platforms and associated data processes.
- Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing debugging and performance tuning within MDM components to ensure optimal system efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure project delivery aligns with organizational goals.
Technical Requirements
Candidates must have between 5 to 10 years of professional experience in data and information management technologies. Expertise in SQL, RDBMS, Metadata management, and Data Quality is essential. Prior hands-on experience with Reltio is a mandatory requirement for this role. A strong understanding of master data management concepts and the ability to perform deep data analysis are critical for success. Experience within the Life Sciences industry is highly preferred, as is familiarity with Informatica MDM solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
A Reltio Certified Associate credential is highly preferred. Certifications in other MDM tools or Big Data technologies will also be viewed favorably. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful MDM projects in complex, data-intensive environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
