Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant to join our dynamic team in Raritan, NJ. This role is critical for facilitating the implementation and ongoing support of SAP QM modules within a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between intricate business requirements and technical system solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP QM implementation, from initial requirement gathering and process mapping to configuration, testing, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Quality Management modules to ensure high-quality product standards and process efficiency.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and map client business requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs through design, customization, configuration, and testing of the SAP QM module.
- Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions to maintain business continuity.
- Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems promptly.
- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues, ensuring system stability.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results meticulously to maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required to empower end-users.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as a subject matter mentor to more junior members of the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in Business Analysis, E2E Business Process Flow design, and AGILE Development Methodology.
- Proven track record of conducting workshops during different phases of projects and delivering professional presentations.
- Strong background in Project Management activities including Scope Management, Time Management, Risk Management, and Stakeholder Management.
- Expertise in requirement gathering, gap analysis, system configuration, and managing unit and SIT testing.
- Experience in managing pre and post go-live activities, ensuring smooth system transitions and optimized business operations.
- Ability to meticulously plan cutover and data migration strategies.
- Excellent communication and relational skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to listen, understand, and facilitate process improvements effectively.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
