Role Overview

Scalable Systems is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant for a critical onsite engagement in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is tailored for a professional with over 10 years of deep technical and functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Compensation modules. As a key member of the implementation team, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end solutions, from initial configuration to production support, ensuring that the compensation strategies of our client are executed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration of Oracle Fusion Compensation modules, including Workforce Compensation, Incentive Compensation, Salary Basis, and Grade Ladders. You will be responsible for component configuration and setting up complex compensation cycles for merit, bonus, and stock plans.
  • Integration Management: Seamlessly integrate Compensation modules with Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management to ensure data integrity and process flow across the HCM suite.
  • Solution Design: Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into robust functional design documents (FDs), configuration workbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Optimization & Support: Drive continuous enhancements and troubleshoot complex configuration issues. You will also support quarterly Oracle Cloud release testing, assessing the impact of new features on existing setups.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct workshops with HR and Finance teams to provide guidance on compensation strategy, compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize BI/OTBI reports and HCM Extracts to provide deep insights for compensation analysis, budgeting, and workforce planning.

Technical & Functional Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience specifically within Oracle Cloud Compensation.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end implementation and production support environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Workforce Compensation and Incentive Compensation modules.
  • Familiarity with related Oracle HCM modules such as Payroll, Benefits, and Core HR.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Fusion Distributed Order Orchestration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

Project Environment

This is an onsite position located in Columbia, SC. The consultant will work closely with the TCS team and the end client to deliver high-value compensation solutions. The role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex organizational structures and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be prepared to engage in high-level technical discussions while also maintaining a focus on the functional needs of the HR and Finance departments.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Columbia, SC
