Position Overview: SAP FICO/FICA Functional Consultant
Innovcentric LLC is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO or FICA Functional Consultant for a long-term engagement (12+ months) supporting our client, Apple Inc. This role requires a high level of expertise in SAP Finance modules and offers a hybrid work schedule for candidates local to Texas (Onsite Tue-Thu, Remote Mon/Fri) or a fully onsite presence in Sunnyvale, CA. We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 12 years of experience who can drive complex financial transformations and provide strategic functional guidance.
Core Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide deep SAP functional expertise specializing in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.
- Lead full-lifecycle implementations of SAP FI modules from inception to post-go-live support.
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs that align with global business needs.
- Perform complex SAP configurations to support financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Write detailed functional specifications for the development of custom programs and enhancements.
- Oversee comprehensive testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Coordinate the transport of configurations and code to production environments.
- Provide expert post-go-live support and troubleshooting for financial business processes.
- Deliver professional presentations and maintain clear communication with executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of dedicated experience in SAP FICO or FICA modules.
- Strong foundational understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Postgraduate degree (MBA or CA) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working within the high-tech or software industries is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment and Visa Requirements
- Location Options: Allen, TX (Hybrid) or Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite).
- Duration: 12+ Months contract.
- Visa Restriction: H1B Only (Candidates must have a valid i-94 that fetches H1B status).
