Position Summary: Senior SAP FICO Consultant
TekIt Inc is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a specialized focus on Central Finance (cFin) for a critical 12-month onsite contract in Wayne, NJ. This role is designed for a high-level functional expert who can navigate the complexities of a major S/4HANA transformation program. You will be the primary point of contact for the client’s finance department, driving the design and implementation of robust financial solutions that align with global business standards.
Detailed Responsibilities and Project Scope
- Lead end-to-end functional design and delivery for SAP FICO modules within an S/4HANA environment, with a heavy emphasis on Central Finance integration.
- Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops and blueprinting sessions to align business requirements with SAP best practices.
- Execute hands-on configuration for core FICO components, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and General Ledger (GL).
- Manage Central Finance specific tasks such as system mappings, data replication, and AIF (Application Interface Framework) monitoring to ensure seamless data flow from source systems.
- Provide strategic direction and daily oversight to an offshore configuration and data team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with data migration teams to validate mapping templates and ensure the integrity of transactional and master data during cutover.
- Support integration points with secondary modules such as Professional Services, Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM).
- Drive the testing lifecycle, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolving defects with high efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of functional experience in SAP FICO, with at least 3 years of dedicated experience in SAP Central Finance.
- Proven track record of leading S/4HANA implementations and managing large-scale financial transformations.
- Deep expertise in controlling processes, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing offshore delivery models and diverse technical teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive decision-making.
- Willingness to work 100% onsite in Wayne, NJ, five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Certification in Finance or Central Finance.
- Prior experience in the Professional Services industry or exposure to Project Systems (PS).
- Advanced knowledge of SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) and troubleshooting replication issues.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
