Job Summary

The Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant for Planning and Order Management is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules. This position focuses on optimizing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles to ensure streamlined supply chain operations and regulatory compliance. The role requires a hybrid presence in Boston, MA, and demands a deep understanding of both functional business processes and technical integration capabilities within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Procurement Cloud, including Self Service Procurement, Sourcing, and Supplier Portals.
  • Manage the implementation of Order Management Cloud, focusing on order orchestration, pricing strategies, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Integrate Product Information Management (PIM) and Inventory modules to ensure data consistency across the supply chain.
  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders to define future-state processes and perform comprehensive gap analyses.
  • Develop functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and solution design deliverables following AIM/OUM methodologies.
  • Coordinate data migration activities using FBDI and ADFDI templates, ensuring data integrity during the transition from legacy systems.
  • Execute unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide post-implementation stabilization support.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to align procurement and order management flows with AP, AR, and GL integrations.

Required Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle Applications (EBS or Fusion Cloud), with at least 2 full-cycle Fusion implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise in P2P and O2C cycles, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, and invoicing.
  • Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools such as BIP and OTBI, as well as workflow configuration and RBAC security.
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs for third-party system integrations.
  • Experience in creating standard Oracle documentation including BR100 and MD50.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud Certification in Procurement or Order Management Cloud.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma, or Automotive sectors.
  • Experience with EBS to Fusion migrations and multi-pillar implementations (SCM + Finance).
  • Knowledge of Advanced Pricing and Contract Lifecycle Management.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $175,000 – $220,000 per year (Estimated)
