Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Java AIML Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Whippany, NJ. This is a 100% onsite role focused on the design, development, and maintenance of complex, end-to-end software solutions that integrate cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for building responsive user interfaces and scalable backend microservices that drive automation and data-driven decision-making across our client’s financial platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Architect and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend frameworks like React.js or Angular. On the backend, you will leverage Java 17+ with Spring Boot, Python (FastAPI/Django), or Node.js to build robust services.
- AI/ML Integration: Collaborate closely with Data Science teams to deploy and integrate sophisticated ML models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), predictive models, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, into production environments via high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Develop next-generation applications leveraging Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and Agentic frameworks such as LangChain to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Database Management: Design and optimize complex schemas for both SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases to ensure data integrity and high availability.
- Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications using AWS or Azure cloud services. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes (OpenShift).
- Technical Excellence: Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to ensure the highest standards of code quality, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Frontend Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management libraries like Redux or Flux.
- Backend Expertise: Extensive experience with Java 17+ (specifically Spring Boot and Spring AI), Python, and Microservices architecture.
- AI/ML Competency: Deep understanding of the ML lifecycle, hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and significant exposure to GenAI/LLM platforms.
- Data & APIs: Strong experience with REST/GraphQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Tools & DevOps: Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, and Agile management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of successful collaboration within Agile squads.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
