Position Summary
Vyze Inc. is looking for a seasoned Senior Pega Developer to join our client’s team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a high-impact role requiring a Lead System Architect (LSA) certification and over a decade of hands-on experience in the Pega ecosystem. The successful candidate will take full ownership of end-to-end delivery, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex enterprise applications. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days of on-site presence per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Pega applications, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards.
- Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis and system design to deployment and maintenance.
- Utilize Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) to build robust solutions involving Case Management, Data Pages, and complex Activities.
- Architect and implement sophisticated integration strategies using SOAP, REST, and Email Listeners to connect Pega with external systems.
- Drive the adoption of Pega 8.x features, including Constellation UI and advanced decisioning capabilities.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and lead code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing deep-dive analysis to identify root causes.
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to streamline the deployment of Pega applications.
- Ensure application security and compliance by implementing Pega’s security features and following industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Pega development and system architecture.
- Mandatory Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) certification (at least Part 1 completion).
- Expert-level knowledge of Pega PRPC, including integration, security, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x and above is essential.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced development environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with UI/UX design within the Pega framework, specifically using Constellation features.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering successful Pega projects.

LSA Certified (At least Part 1) required. Local candidates only. Strong LinkedIn profile required. Interview mode: Skype. Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
