Role Mission and Overview

As a Mobile Release Program Manager, your primary mission is to drive the end-to-end delivery of high-quality mobile releases across the Intuit ecosystem. This is a critical leadership role that requires orchestrating complex, cross-functional engineering efforts to ensure that iOS and Android applications are released with high predictability, speed, and safety. You will be the central point of contact for navigating the strict requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring that every release meets both technical and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of mobile application releases, from planning and development through to deployment and post-release monitoring.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, quality assurance, and design, to align on release goals and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain release schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Manage the submission process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, staying up-to-date with changing guidelines and requirements.
  • Implement and optimize release processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance the overall quality of mobile products.
  • Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for each release, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed early in the cycle.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and go/no-go meetings with executive leadership and technical leads.
  • Monitor post-release performance and stability, coordinating hotfixes or rollbacks if necessary to maintain a high-quality user experience.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting post-mortem analyses and implementing lessons learned into future release cycles.

Technical and Professional Requirements

  • Proven experience in program management specifically focused on mobile application delivery (iOS and Android).
  • Deep understanding of the mobile development lifecycle and the nuances of mobile-first engineering practices.
  • Expertise in navigating the submission and approval processes for major app stores (Apple and Google).
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and release automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
