Role Summary and Objectives

We are seeking a highly skilled WMS Functional QA Analyst / Consultant with deep domain expertise in Warehouse Management and Supply Chain processes. This onsite role in Memphis, TN, is critical for ensuring the high-quality delivery of WMS implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of distribution center operations and have hands-on experience in validating complex warehouse workflows. You will bridge the gap between business operations and technical validation, ensuring that the software solutions meet the rigorous demands of real-world logistics environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases.
  • Validate end-to-end warehouse workflows, including receiving, putaway, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across WMS and related supply chain applications.
  • Collaborate closely with Business, Operations, and Development teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Analyze application logs and backend data to troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis for system failures.
  • Execute advanced SQL queries for data validation, backend testing, and reporting.
  • Ensure robust test coverage for integrations between WMS, TMS, OMS, and other enterprise-level systems.
  • Lead UAT support, defect triage meetings, and release validation activities.
  • Provide operational insights aligned with real-world Distribution Center (DC) processes to improve system design and usability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and the Supply Chain domain.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in warehouse operations, inventory lifecycle management, and logistics workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS or similar tier-1 WMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and their integration with warehouse platforms.
  • Advanced Oracle SQL skills for data validation and complex analysis.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing structured test scenarios, scripts, and procedures in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to perform detailed log analysis.

Preferred and Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium with Java, particularly within a Spring Boot framework.
  • Knowledge of Sterling OMS and Retail Merchandising Systems.
  • Experience working in integrated retail or omnichannel fulfillment environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile and fast-paced implementation environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $105,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
