Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Technical Test Lead with a strong background in DevOps and Continuous Delivery to join our team in Hartford, CT. This role is unique as it requires a Scrum Lead Tester with specific experience in AI Agent testing. You will be responsible for leading testing efforts for cutting-edge AI-driven applications, ensuring that non-deterministic outputs are validated against realistic user interactions. This is a long-term contract opportunity suitable for candidates who thrive in Agile environments and have a passion for automation and quality assurance.
Core Responsibilities
- Test Leadership: Act as the Scrum Lead for testing activities, overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies.
- AI Testing: Validate and test AI Agents, focusing on topic and action accuracy. You will refine and iterate testing processes based on results to ensure AI models behave as expected.
- Automation Development: Design, develop, and analyze automation tests using Java, JavaScript, and Selenium.
- API & Integration Testing: Conduct thorough testing of APIs and complex data integrations to ensure seamless system communication.
- Prompt Engineering for QA: Generate prompts and leverage Test Centers to execute those prompts, ensuring test data represents realistic and diverse user interactions.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within a SAFe Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Global Delivery Model: Collaborate effectively with offshore teams in an onshore/offshore support model to ensure 24/7 quality coverage.
- Tool Management: Utilize Rational Tool suite and JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and executing automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript.
- Direct experience testing AI Agents or applications involving Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies and the non-deterministic nature of AI testing.
- Proven experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team of testers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Healthcare industry is highly preferred.
- Prior experience testing customer support and contact center systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and continuous deployment/release processes.
Special Requirements
AI Agent experience required. Healthcare domain experience preferred. Must be comfortable with C2C contract terms.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $165,000 per year
