Role Overview
We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Azure Software Developers to join our dynamic engineering team in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a high-impact, W2 contract position designed for professionals who possess deep, hands-on experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-grade applications, from initial research and architectural design to implementation, debugging, and long-term maintenance. The ideal candidate is a cloud-native expert who can navigate complex microservices architectures and deliver high-performance solutions that meet the rigorous demands of a modern enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement scalable software solutions leveraging the full power of Microsoft Azure services.
- Develop and maintain high-availability cloud applications using Python, Node.js, and the .NET Framework.
- Architect and deploy robust RESTful APIs and microservices to support distributed system communication.
- Write clean, maintainable, and rigorously tested code, ensuring 100% accountability for all deliverables, including those assisted by GitHub Copilot.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within enterprise-grade production environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, QA teams, and Information Security experts to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Participate actively in both Agile and Waterfall development cycles, contributing to sprint planning and architectural reviews.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Enterprise (GHE) environments.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure core services including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages: Python, Node.js, and C# (.NET Core/.NET Framework).
- Deep understanding of database technologies, specifically Cosmos DB and SQL Server.
- Front-end proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for full-stack visibility.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing Microservices and RESTful architectures.
- Expertise in version control and project management tools like GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Azure Certified Software Developer or Azure Certified DevOps Engineer credentials.
- Strong grasp of cloud-native security best practices and identity management.
- Experience in high-volume data processing and real-time analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Work Environment and Eligibility
This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days of onsite presence at our Deerfield Beach, FL office and two days of remote work. Due to the nature of the project and onsite requirements, we are only considering local Florida candidates at this time. This is a 12-month W2 contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship requirements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
