Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a high-impact 6-month engagement in Raritan, NJ, supporting a major client in the Life Sciences sector. This role demands a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience, specifically focusing on SAP S/4 HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial and controlling modules, with a particular emphasis on Supply Chain Finance and Product Costing. You will be responsible for driving process improvements, designing global statutory solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of FICO with other SAP modules in an Agile environment.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with key business users and system designers to deliver high-level specifications and best practices.
- Design, configure, and test SAP FICO modules including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and CO-PA.
- Develop and implement technical solution proposals for complex business requirements in the Finance and Controlling domains.
- Manage the integration of SAP FICO with other modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM).
- Build and maintain SAP inbound and outbound interfaces with third-party systems, utilizing IDoc and EDI technologies.
- Execute full end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and migrations from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA (specifically the 2023 version).
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to deploy statutory solutions and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining comprehensive documentation, including process flows, functional designs, and standard operating procedures.
Technical Expertise
- 12+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4 HANA, with a strong preference for the 2023 version.
- Specialized knowledge in Supply Chain Product Costing and Supply Chain Finance (Invoicing, Vendor Invoicing, PTP).
- Familiarity with Central Finance (CFIN) concepts and implementations.
- Proficiency in testing tools, Solution Manager (Solman), and Agile project management techniques.
- Strong functional configuration skills across all core FICO sub-modules.
- Experience resolving defects during testing phases and providing post-go-live support.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
