Role Overview: AEM Cloud Administrator & Adobe Campaign Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM Cloud Administrator with a deep specialization in Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) to join our technical team in Owings Mills, MD. This role is critical for driving our marketing automation excellence and ensuring the seamless orchestration of complex customer journeys. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of hands-on experience in the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, specifically focusing on the technical architecture, schema design, and workflow automation within Adobe Campaign Classic. As we move into 2026, the integration of cloud-native services and advanced data orchestration is paramount, and this position will be at the forefront of that evolution.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth
- Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) Development: Lead the design and implementation of complex schemas, technical workflows, and advanced campaign orchestration logic to support multi-channel marketing initiatives.
- Scripting and API Integration: Utilize advanced JavaScript and SOAP/REST APIs to automate intricate workflows and ensure robust data integrations between Adobe Campaign and external systems.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct deep-dive performance tuning and troubleshooting of Adobe Campaign instances to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure high deliverability and system reliability.
- CRM Integration: Architect and manage the integration of Adobe Campaign with leading CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, to maintain a unified view of the customer.
- Template and Logic Design: Develop and maintain sophisticated delivery templates and typologies, ensuring brand consistency and high engagement across email and other digital channels.
- Data Management: Work closely with data engineering teams to optimize SQL queries and manage large-scale data sets for effective customer segmentation and targeting.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex campaign execution issues, deliverability challenges, and workflow errors.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing enterprise-level Adobe Campaign environments. You must demonstrate a mastery of the technical components of ACC, including the ability to write custom scripts and manage complex data structures. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email template customization is essential. Furthermore, a strong understanding of the broader Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud environment will be highly beneficial as we continue to integrate our content and marketing automation stacks. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while mentoring junior developers in best practices.

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
