Role Overview: SAP EWM / HANA Consultant
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and seasoned SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join our specialized team in Santa Clara, California. This onsite position is tailored for a professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience, specifically within the manufacturing and semiconductor sectors. As the semiconductor industry continues to evolve with increasing complexity in supply chain logistics, the need for robust, scalable, and highly integrated warehouse management solutions has never been more critical. This role offers the opportunity to lead digital transformation initiatives at the heart of Silicon Valley, working with cutting-edge S/4HANA technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Scope
- Solution Design & Implementation: You will lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM within S/4HANA environments (version 1809 or later). This includes defining complex warehouse structures and optimizing processes for inbound, outbound, and internal material movements.
- Advanced EWM Capabilities: Configuration of advanced features such as the RF framework, slotting and rearrangement, labor management, and wave management is a core requirement. You will also manage batch and serial number handling to ensure 100% traceability.
- Industry-Specific Logistics: Designing logistics flows specifically for semiconductor fabs and OSAT environments. This involves managing cleanroom material handling, Kanban production staging, and the tracking of serialized components and spare parts.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Seamlessly integrate EWM with other SAP modules including Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Transportation Management (TM).
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, utilizing BAPIs, IDocs, and Fiori apps. You will be responsible for performance optimization within the HANA database environment and troubleshooting complex integration points.
Strategic Impact and Collaboration
In this role, you are more than just a functional consultant; you are a strategic partner to the business. You will lead workshops and fit-gap sessions with stakeholders from manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to translate operational pain points into technical solutions. Your expertise in semiconductor supply chain constraints—such as yield management, lot genealogy, and rigorous traceability—will be vital in ensuring the success of global template rollouts. Furthermore, you will provide mentorship to offshore teams and AMS partners, ensuring high-quality delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle, from SIT and UAT to cutover and post-go-live hypercare. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
