Role Overview
SYSMIND is seeking a Senior Appian Developer with a robust Java background for a long-term contract engagement in North Quincy, MA. This role is designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between low-code BPM solutions and traditional enterprise Java development. As a key member of a global delivery team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex business processes that drive efficiency for world-leading clients. This is a pure development project requiring high-level technical and design skills to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Appian Development: Lead the design and implementation of Appian-based applications, leveraging your L2 certification to build sophisticated process models, SAIL interfaces, and complex data types.
- Java Integration: Utilize your strong Java background to develop custom plugins, integrate with external APIs, and handle complex backend logic that extends the native capabilities of the Appian platform.
- Technical Design: Participate in architectural discussions and provide detailed technical designs that align with enterprise standards. You will ensure that all solutions are optimized for performance and security.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary technical contact for stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications and providing regular updates on project milestones.
- Global Collaboration: Work effectively within a Global Delivery Model, coordinating with offshore and nearshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate must be L2 Appian Certified and possess extensive hands-on experience in both Appian and Java development. Strong communication skills are paramount, as you will be interacting with diverse stakeholders across the organization. Experience in a Global Delivery Model is highly preferred. This position is strictly on-site in North Quincy, MA, requiring a professional who thrives in a collaborative, face-to-face environment. You should have a proven track record of delivering high-impact BPM solutions in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
