Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer specializing in Azure PaaS Services to join our dynamic team in Montvale, NJ. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and automating robust cloud solutions that leverage the full spectrum of Microsoft Azure’s platform-as-a-service offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and AI integration, working closely with enterprise architects to deliver high-quality, scalable systems. This position requires a blend of technical prowess, analytical thinking, and proactive communication to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Technical Requirements
- Deep expertise in Azure PaaS offerings, including Application Service Environments (ASE), Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Containerized environments like AKS and Azure Container Apps.
- Solid understanding of Azure Networking concepts, including VNETs, NSGs, and private endpoints, to ensure secure IaaS and PaaS integration.
- Proficiency in implementing advanced Azure Authentication methods and access control strategies.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric for data governance and analytics.
Automation and DevOps
- Proven ability to create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using BICEP and Terraform templates.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD pipeline management and version control.
- Basic to medium-level coding proficiency in .NET or Python to support automation scripts and custom tool development.
- Ability to develop high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) architecture design diagrams to document system structures.
Responsibilities and Collaboration
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and KPMG architects to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Play an active role in defining standards for coding, system design, and cloud architecture within the project team.
- Conduct detailed requirement analysis and provide proactive problem-solving for complex Azure-based challenges.
- Maintain a ‘can-do’ attitude while managing multiple priorities and delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with Microsoft Azure certifications, specifically targeting AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) and AI-102 (AI Engineer).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year
