Role Overview: Senior Pega Developer (LSA)
Adventa Tech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Pega Developer to join our client’s engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a critical role requiring a Lead System Architect (LSA) certification and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Pega development. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of end-to-end delivery, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex enterprise applications. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days onsite in Sunnyvale and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level Pega applications using Pega PRPC 8.x and above.
- Act as the primary technical authority for Pega architecture, ensuring Case Management, Integration, and Security protocols align with industry best practices.
- Drive the integration of Pega applications with external systems using SOAP, REST, and Email Listeners.
- Mentor junior developers and lead technical teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
- Optimize application performance by designing efficient Decision Rules, Data Pages, and Activities.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces using Pega UI and Constellation features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and scalability of the Pega platform.
- Participate in DevOps practices, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for Pega deployments.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Pega development and system architecture.
- Mandatory Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) certification (at least Part 1).
- Expertise in Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega 8.x features.
- Strong proficiency in integration techniques including RESTful services and SOAP.
- Experience with Pega Cloud, Pega BPM, or Pega CRM frameworks is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps tools.
Interview Process & Expectations
The selection process involves a two-stage video interview via WebEx. The first stage is a 15-minute screening with the prime vendor, followed by a comprehensive 45-60 minute technical skills assessment with the hiring manager. Candidates must provide the email address used for their LSA certification and a valid LinkedIn profile. Local candidates are prioritized, but relocation assistance is available for those who can move within two weeks of an offer.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
