Role Summary: React Native Tech Lead
We are seeking a visionary React Native Tech Lead to spearhead our mobile development initiatives in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of cross-platform applications, ensuring that our solutions are not only functional but also scalable, secure, and performant. As a Tech Lead, you will own the architectural roadmap and mentor a talented team of developers to maintain the highest standards of code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex React Native mobile applications from concept to deployment.
- Act as the primary technical authority for mobile projects, making critical decisions regarding frameworks, libraries, and integration patterns.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level React Native developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Drive the mobile release management process for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring timely and stable updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority production issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in strategic sprint planning, providing accurate estimations and technical feasibility assessments.
Technical Requirements & Core Competencies
- Expert-level proficiency in React Native and the broader JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem with over 12 years of professional experience.
- Deep understanding of state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the mobile application lifecycle, including platform-specific nuances for iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with native modules using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java to bridge functionality where necessary.
- Proven track record in performance optimization, memory management, and advanced debugging techniques.
- Experience implementing push notifications, deep linking, and robust offline storage solutions.
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL API integrations, including secure authentication flows like JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
- Proficiency in cloud service integrations, specifically with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Quality Assurance and DevOps
- Commitment to automated testing using frameworks like Jest, Detox, or Appium to ensure application stability.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines tailored for mobile deployment workflows.
- Utilization of monitoring and crash reporting tools such as Firebase and Sentry to maintain high application uptime.
- Adherence to Clean Architecture, MVVM, and modular design patterns to ensure codebase maintainability.
- Experience managing multi-environment builds and complex configurations for enterprise-scale applications.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $195,000 – $255,000 per year (Estimated)
