Role Overview

The TVM (Technology Vendor Management) Program Manager is a critical leadership role focused on the strategic oversight and operational management of technology expenditures and vendor relationships. This position is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s tech spend is optimized, governed, and aligned with long-term business objectives. You will act as a bridge between finance, technology, and business units to drive efficiency and transparency in how technology resources are procured and utilized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Tech Spend program end-to-end, including budget forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Engage with senior leadership to provide regular updates on program health, financial performance, and strategic alignment.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues related to technology vendors and contract execution.
  • Conduct and lead weekly governance meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and program milestones are being met.
  • Support the transition of spend management responsibilities to the Technology department, ensuring process continuity.
  • Track and manage the transition of vendor ownership across various business units to maintain accountability.
  • Ensure rigorous governance and compliance with corporate procurement policies and technology standards.
  • Collaborate with AI and business teams to integrate emerging technology costs into the broader program framework.

Professional Qualifications

  • Proven track record in Program Management, specifically within IT procurement, vendor management, or technology finance.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage multi-million dollar technology budgets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing high-value vendor contracts.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, PMP) and tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or SAP.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Operational Excellence and Strategy

In this role, you will be expected to drive operational excellence by refining vendor management processes and implementing best practices for tech spend governance. You will analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements. By fostering strong relationships with key technology partners, you will ensure that the organization receives maximum value from its investments. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex organizational structures and deliver results that impact the bottom line. Your work will directly contribute to the organization’s ability to innovate while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
