Job Description: Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant
We are looking for a versatile Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role is critical for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution within the Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud environment. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of core financial modules and the technical proficiency to customize and extend system functionality to meet specific business needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level functional and technical support for Oracle Financial modules, specifically General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define project scope and functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical components including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Design and implement custom reports, interfaces, and data conversion scripts to facilitate seamless data flow between Oracle and external systems.
- Perform system configurations and setups to support evolving business processes and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
- Lead testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Technical and Functional Integration
- Map business processes to Oracle standard functionality and identify gaps that require technical customization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity across the enterprise.
- Stay current with Oracle patches, updates, and new feature releases to advise the business on potential improvements.
- Document all functional designs and technical specifications in accordance with industry best practices and company standards.
Professional Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the functional and technical aspects of Oracle ERP. You should be comfortable navigating the database schema while also understanding the accounting principles that drive the financial modules. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be the primary point of contact for both technical developers and business users. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
