Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. This role is designed for a technical leader with over 10 years of experience who can bridge the gap between traditional network operations and modern software-defined infrastructure. As the networking landscape evolves, we are looking for an individual who views the network through the lens of code, automation, and scalability. This position offers the flexibility of C2C or W2 employment and is open to candidates with any valid work visa.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust network operations for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Go to streamline repetitive network tasks and reduce human error.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles using Terraform and Ansible to manage network configurations and deployments.
- Integrate network changes into existing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that network infrastructure is as agile as the software it supports.
- Utilize JavaScript for front-end dashboarding or internal tool development to visualize network health and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and security across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Provide high-level troubleshooting and architectural guidance for complex network issues.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering and Operations.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and Go for network automation and tool development.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and their application in a networking context.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for developing internal automation interfaces.
- Deep knowledge of routing protocols, switching, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid-cloud connectivity.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
