Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our remote team, focusing on the development of scalable healthcare solutions. This role is central to our mission of leveraging microservices architecture and AI/ML frameworks to transform patient care and data management. Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
- Build and integrate complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support diverse client applications.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases for high-performance data storage.
- Implement AI/ML models for predictive analytics and automation within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.
- Manage code using GitHub and implement robust CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Scrum and Kanban, to ensure iterative delivery of high-quality software.
Required Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Python with a deep understanding of its asynchronous capabilities.
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and managed services.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
- Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Knowledge of healthcare domain standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
