Role Overview
GoCool Inc is looking for a Senior .Net Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and guide development teams for a high-impact client project. This is a remote position based out of Dallas, TX, requiring a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture. The role involves detailed technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver modern, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-grade solutions using modern technology stacks including .NET Core, Angular, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Lead cloud-native engineering initiatives using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, MSK, and DynamoDB.
- Develop and maintain architectural artifacts including Business Context Diagrams (BCD), sequence diagrams, and ER/DFD diagrams.
- Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into existing and new product architectures.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies (XP, Lean, SAFe) to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Mentor and guide technical teams through complex architectural challenges and code instrumentations.
- Collaborate with business teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals in the Tax and Immigration domains.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of cloud-native microservices and FaaS/PaaS implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on C#, .NET Core, and Angular.
- 8+ years of experience architecting enterprise solutions on modern technology stacks.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native engineering on AWS.
- 5+ years of specific experience with AWS services like SNS/SQS, Step Functions, Glue, and Lake Formation.
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of OOP/OOD, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
