Position Summary
Innovyt is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Java development to lead our cross-functional engineering teams. This is a remote-first position, specifically targeting candidates located in IL, MI, WI, OH, or IN. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical depth and product management expertise, enabling them to translate complex business requirements into high-performing technical solutions for our Ecommerce and Order Management System (OMS) platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Technical Product Owner, defining the product vision and managing the technical roadmap for enterprise-scale applications.
- Utilize prior full-stack development experience (Java, Spring Boot, UI) to provide technical guidance and ensure architectural alignment.
- Lead the development and optimization of Ecommerce platforms and Order Management Systems to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Java development teams to design and implement comprehensive dashboards for real-time system monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and technical debt based on business value and stakeholder requirements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product demonstrations.
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of technical constraints and product goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development life cycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and product quality through rigorous testing and feedback loops.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven track record as a Technical Product Owner or Technical Lead in a software-driven organization.
- Extensive experience in full-stack development, specifically with Java, Spring Boot, and modern UI frameworks.
- Mandatory domain expertise in Ecommerce and Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor technical teams.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering scalable and secure products.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Special Requirements
Local only to IL, MI, WI, OH, IN. Must have Java background. Ecommerce and Order Management System experience is required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
