Role Overview
The Project Manager II (Lower Level) is a critical role responsible for overseeing and coordinating technical projects within a hybrid work environment in Buffalo, NY. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency and leadership to manage projects that interface across multiple business units or functional areas. The successful candidate will ensure that project goals are met within scope, schedule, and budget constraints while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive delivery and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and reflective of current progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, and costs using industry-standard verification techniques to keep the project plan accurate and updated.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that reflect authorized changes and facilitate customer acceptance.
- Build and utilize JIRA Dashboards and Power BI reports to track project progress against milestones and provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Lead multiple delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination to meet strict deadlines and project objectives.
- Apply SDLC and Agile methodologies to streamline development processes and improve delivery efficiency across the organization.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables through proactive problem-solving.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders and executive leadership to report on progress and address any blockers.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained in accordance with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related functional field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management, project analysis, or general management.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of combined higher education and work experience, with at least 3 years specifically in project management.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency with JIRA, Power BI, and standard office productivity software packages.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year (Estimated)
