Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Integration Developer to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is pivotal in driving our HR digital transformation by designing and implementing sophisticated integration solutions that connect Workday with a variety of internal and external systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of the Workday ecosystem and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs. You will work closely with HR stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow across the organization’s technology stack.
Core Responsibilities
- Integration Design & Development: You will lead the design and development of integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Web Services (SOAP/REST). Your work will involve creating detailed technical designs, including data mappings and complex transformations.
- Data Synchronization: You will build and manage event-driven and scheduled integrations to synchronize critical worker data, organizational hierarchies, and compensation elements across the enterprise.
- System Integrity: Implementing robust logging, error handling, and monitoring controls is essential to ensure the reliability of our data flows. You will ensure all integrations comply with strict enterprise data governance standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: You will own the full testing lifecycle, from Unit Testing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This includes preparing test scenarios, maintaining traceability matrices, and securing sign-off documentation.
- Release Management: You will play a key role in managing the impact of Workday’s biannual releases, ensuring that all inbound and outbound interfaces remain compatible and optimized.
- Cross-Platform Collaboration: Partnering with HR Technology teams, you will support integration flows spanning Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, payroll systems, and benefits platforms. You will identify automation opportunities to enhance HR service delivery.
- Operational Support: Monitoring integration dashboards and failure logs to perform root cause analysis and timely remediation of issues.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIB.
- Strong experience with Workday Web Services (SOAP and REST).
- In-depth knowledge of core HCM domains, including Worker, Organization, and Payroll touchpoints.
- Advanced skills in data mapping and transformation.
- Experience with middleware or iPaaS tools like MuleSoft or Boomi is highly preferred.
- Workday Integration or Studio certification is a significant advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and troubleshooting capabilities.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
