Position Summary
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is looking for a specialized Quantexa Developer to join our data engineering practice. This is a hybrid role based out of Sunrise, FL or Phoenix, AZ, requiring three days per week in the office. The successful candidate must be a Quantexa Certified Data Engineer with a proven track record of delivering complex data solutions on the Quantexa platform. This role is pivotal in helping our clients leverage entity resolution and network analytics to combat financial crime and improve data-driven decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines within the Quantexa platform to support entity resolution and network generation.
- Utilize Scala and PySpark to process large-scale datasets and implement complex business logic.
- Design and implement network graphing solutions to visualize relationships and detect anomalous patterns.
- Integrate Quantexa solutions with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform data profiling and quality assessments to ensure the integrity of the Quantexa environment.
- Optimize Spark jobs for performance and resource efficiency in a cloud-native environment.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Quantexa implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory: Quantexa Certified Data Engineer status.
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Quantexa platform, including its core modules and APIs.
- Strong programming proficiency in Scala, particularly within the context of Spark/PySpark.
- Solid understanding of graph theory and experience with network graphing tools.
- Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and data services.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
