Role Overview: SAP ATTP Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ATTP (Advanced Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals) Solution Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of serialization and pharmaceutical compliance systems. This critical role is dedicated to a major MedTech customer, focusing on ensuring global supply chain integrity and regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will serve as the primary architectural authority, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design, configuration, and governance of SAP ATTP solutions, ensuring seamless alignment with global pharmaceutical compliance mandates.
- Develop comprehensive solution blueprints, integration patterns, and detailed process flows for serialization across diverse environments including supply chain, packaging, warehouse, and distribution.
- Own all SAP ATTP configuration activities, including the definition of Rules, GCP settings, Serialization Profiles, GTIN setups, and the management of related master and transaction data elements.
- Drive the full project lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, FIT/GAP analysis, technical documentation, rigorous testing, validation, and final deployment.
- Provide expert guidance on the mandatory upgrade from NetWeaver (STTP 3xx) to ATTP on S/4HANA Cloud Foundation, ensuring a stable and scalable transition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and IT to ensure a unified approach to serialization.
Technical Expertise and Integration
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with multiple SAP ATTP implementations and large-scale serialization deployments within the pharmaceutical or MedTech sectors.
- Ensure robust and compliant integration between SAP ATTP and core enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP WM/EWM.
- Manage complex integrations with packaging line systems, including Systech, OPTEL, PCE, PharmaProof, and LineMaster.
- Facilitate secure data exchange with ICH and other trading partner serialization platforms to maintain a transparent and traceable supply chain.
- Stay abreast of evolving global regulations (e.g., DSCSA, EU FMD) to ensure the ATTP solution remains fully compliant with international standards.
Qualifications and Professional Attributes
- Proven track record of at least 1-2 successful upgrade projects from legacy STTP systems to S/4HANA Cloud-based ATTP environments.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes and the technical nuances of serialization and track-and-trace technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in high-stakes, regulated environments.
- Commitment to quality and validation standards required in the MedTech and pharmaceutical industries.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
