Role Overview: SAP IBP Developer
iTech US, Inc. is seeking highly skilled and experienced SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Developers for a long-term, 12-month remote contract engagement. This role is critical for our client’s supply chain transformation, focusing on advanced planning tools and seamless integration with S4/HANA and third-party legacy systems. Please note that this position is remote; however, we are specifically looking for candidates who are NOT located in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. Candidates in PST, MST, or CST are preferred to align with specific project team hours.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Scope
- Design, configure, and implement SAP IBP solutions to meet complex business requirements in supply chain planning.
- Lead functional configuration and design sessions for SAP IBP modules, specifically focusing on Response & Supply and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Develop and optimize planning models using SAP Optimizer and Heuristic-based planning methods to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end integration between SAP IBP and S4/HANA, as well as other third-party legacy systems.
- Utilize integration tools such as CPIDS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services), SDI (Smart Data Integration), and RTI (Real-Time Integration) for robust data interfacing.
- Participate in all project phases, including requirement gathering, design, development, rigorous testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the IBP solution aligns with broader enterprise architecture and business goals.
- Provide expert-level consulting on supply chain best practices and SAP IBP capabilities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP consulting experience, specifically within the Supply Chain Planning domain.
- Proven track record of at least one full-cycle SAP IBP implementation from blueprinting to support.
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP IBP business processes and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Response & Supply and SAP IBP S&OP modules.
- Strong technical proficiency in SAP Optimizer and Heuristic planning engines.
- Solid understanding of data integration methods, including CPIDS, SDI, and RTI.
- Experience working with S4/HANA environments and integrating IBP with legacy systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Ability to provide necessary documentation, including a visa copy, DL copy, and passport number, for background verification and onboarding.

You will be working alongside a team of seasoned SAP professionals, business analysts, and project managers dedicated to delivering a world-class supply chain planning solution. The project utilizes Agile methodologies, requiring active participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. As a remote developer, you must possess strong self-management skills and the ability to maintain high productivity levels without direct onsite supervision. Effective communication via Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom is essential for coordinating with team members across different time zones (excluding EST). You will be expected to take ownership of your assigned modules, providing regular status updates and proactively identifying potential risks or bottlenecks in the development lifecycle.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
