Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer for a critical 6-month contract engagement based in Louisville, KY. This role is designed for a professional who excels in transforming complex data into actionable business insights through advanced visualization and reporting. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering to the final production deployment of executive-level dashboards.
Technical Requirements
- Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database management and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience working within an Agile development life cycle, including participation in sprints and stand-ups.
- Proven ability to handle large enterprise data volumes and optimize dashboard performance.
- Experience with Azure boards for project tracking and task management.
- Cloud Migration project experience is highly desirable.
- Prior experience within the Healthcare Insurance industry is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement data modeling and DAX calculations to support complex reporting needs.
- Automate business processes using Power Apps and Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage the full deployment process, ensuring data accuracy and security across all environments.
- Provide technical guidance on BI best practices and data governance.
- Independently manage customer expectations from requirement intake through to production support.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $45 – $48 per year
