Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a long-term engagement in Dallas, Texas. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise-level application development. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications that serve critical business functions. This role requires a deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud-native development, and a commitment to technical excellence.

Technical Requirements and Core Competencies

  • Backend Development: Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Core (versions 5, 6, and 7). Extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API for building scalable backend services.
  • Architecture: Proven track record in Microservices Architecture and the development of RESTful APIs to support distributed systems.
  • Frontend Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular and React. Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is essential for creating responsive user interfaces.
  • Database Management: Deep knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, as well as NoSQL solutions including MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  • Cloud Platforms: Practical experience working within Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end development process, from initial requirement gathering to final deployment. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and design patterns. Collaboration is a cornerstone of this role; you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Professional Experience and Education

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, specifically within enterprise environments. A strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design, is required. While a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred, we value a proven track record of successful project delivery and technical leadership. Experience in the financial or healthcare sectors is a plus, given the complexity of the systems involved.
