Role Overview: Senior Enterprise AI Deployment Engineer
As the landscape of artificial intelligence continues to evolve at a rapid pace, large-scale organizations are moving beyond experimental phases into full-scale production deployments of Large Language Models (LLMs). We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise AI Deployment Engineer for a 100% remote, 6-month contract position. This role is specifically designed for a technical expert who possesses deep, hands-on experience in the operationalization of Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise within complex, highly regulated environments. Unlike advisory or architectural roles, this position requires a practitioner who can execute the technical configurations necessary to bring AI platforms to life for thousands of users while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
Technical Responsibilities and Implementation Scope
- Identity and Access Management: You will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration of Okta SSO and SCIM provisioning. This ensures that user lifecycles are managed efficiently and that access to AI platforms is strictly governed by enterprise identity standards.
- Secrets and Privileged Access: Integration with CyberArk is a core requirement. You will manage privileged access and ensure that all secrets, API keys, and sensitive credentials used by the AI platforms are stored and rotated according to corporate security policies.
- Observability and Auditing: You will lead the Splunk log ingestion process, ensuring that all audit logs from Claude and ChatGPT Enterprise are captured, indexed, and monitored. This includes setting up alerts for anomalous activity and ensuring that AI platform usage is transparent to the security operations center (SOC).
- API Integration: You will develop and maintain the connectors and API integrations between the AI platforms and existing enterprise systems, enabling seamless data flow and functional interoperability.
- Compliance and Governance: A significant portion of this role involves implementing controls for HIPAA/PHI, BAA, and SOC2/HITRUST. You will ensure that the AI deployment meets all regulatory requirements, particularly within the healthcare and payer industries.
Candidate Requirements and Experience
The ideal candidate must bring at least 10 years of professional experience in information technology, with a significant focus on enterprise SaaS rollouts and platform engineering. We are looking for a specialist who has already ‘been there and done that’ regarding the specific deployment of Claude Enterprise or ChatGPT Enterprise. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of taking an AI platform from initial setup through production rollout, including user onboarding and ongoing administration. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred due to the complexity of TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management) workflows and the sensitivity of the data involved. You must be a self-starter who can hit the ground running, coordinating effectively with security and IT leadership to deliver a robust, secure, and compliant AI environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
