Role Overview: Power BI Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Power BI Architect to spearhead our data visualization and business intelligence initiatives. This role is critical in transforming complex data landscapes into actionable insights, specifically focusing on the integration of SAP S/4HANA environments with modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake. As a lead architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of BI solutions, from initial requirement gathering and data strategy formulation to the final delivery of high-performance dashboards.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Lead the analysis of existing SAP S/4HANA reporting structures to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for modernization.
- Architect and design robust data models in Power BI that accurately reflect complex entity relationships within the S/4HANA ecosystem.
- Develop a comprehensive data integration strategy that leverages Snowflake as a central repository, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP systems and Power BI.
- Redesign legacy SAP reports into interactive, user-centric Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance.
- Establish and enforce best practices for DAX development, data modeling, and report performance optimization to ensure scalability across the enterprise.
- Collaborate closely with executive stakeholders and department heads to translate business objectives into technical data requirements.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and data analysts, fostering a culture of excellence in data visualization.
- Ensure data governance and security protocols are strictly followed, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive corporate data.
- Optimize report refresh cycles and gateway configurations to provide the most up-to-date information without compromising system performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest features in the Power BI ecosystem and evaluate their potential impact on the organization’s BI roadmap.

Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Extensive experience in Power BI development, including advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and complex data modeling.
- Proven track record of working with SAP S/4HANA reporting tools and understanding SAP data structures.
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing, including performance tuning and integration patterns.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data problems and present solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder management.
- Experience in Agile development environments and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Remote work allowed. Requires specific expertise in SAP S/4HANA and Snowflake integration.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 per year
