Position Summary
Novia Infotech is seeking a visionary Java Full Stack Developer with AWS Architect expertise for a high-impact onsite role. This position is available in two of the nation’s premier tech hubs: Jersey City, NJ, and Dallas, TX. As we move into 2026, the demand for developers who can seamlessly navigate between application code and cloud infrastructure has never been higher. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-native applications, ensuring they are built for maximum scalability, security, and performance on the Amazon Web Services platform.
Core Technical Competencies
- Expertise in Core Java and J2EE, with a mastery of the Spring Ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for microservices.
- Advanced front-end development skills using React or Angular, supported by a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Architectural mastery of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Proven experience in DevOps and Containerization, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
- Strong database knowledge across relational systems (PostgreSQL, Aurora) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning.
- Deep understanding of AWS IAM, VPC, and security best practices to ensure a hardened cloud environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect and design highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-optimized AWS solutions that meet rigorous enterprise standards.
- Develop full-stack application components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Lead the transition to microservices architectures, breaking down monolithic applications into manageable, scalable services.
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process and reduce time-to-market.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and translate business needs into architectural blueprints.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain the highest levels of code quality and system reliability.
Architectural Vision and Leadership
In this role, you are more than just a developer; you are a technical leader. You will be expected to provide a clear architectural vision for the projects you lead, ensuring that every line of code contributes to a stable and scalable ecosystem. You will navigate the complexities of distributed systems, managing state and consistency across various cloud services. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be vital as you advocate for the best architectural paths forward. Security, Compliance, and Performance
With the increasing importance of data privacy and security in 2026, you will play a critical role in implementing robust security measures within the AWS environment. This includes managing encryption at rest and in transit, implementing fine-grained access controls, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performance tuning at every level—from optimizing SQL queries to fine-tuning Lambda execution times. Your goal is to create a seamless, lightning-fast user experience backed by a rock-solid cloud infrastructure.

Onsite requirement. Locations: Jersey City, NJ or Dallas, TX. Must have strong AWS Architecture background.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
