Role Overview: Java Solution Architect
As a Senior Java Solution Architect in the 2026 landscape, you will be the primary driver of technological innovation and strategic alignment for our business domains in Las Vegas. This role requires a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical execution. You will be responsible for building a comprehensive technology vision, conducting deep-dive solution analysis, and overseeing the implementation of scalable architectures that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a holistic technology strategy for specific business domains, ensuring alignment with global IT standards.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to shape product roadmaps and prioritize feature delivery.
- Design and document high-level solution architectures, including domain decomposition and RESTful API specifications.
- Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies such as advanced AI integration and next-gen cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, translating abstract business needs into actionable technical stories and epics.
- Coordinate with Data Architects to ensure robust table designs and data contracts are established for high-integrity data flow.
- Promote organizational efficiency through inner-sourcing and the reuse of existing architectural patterns.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, specifically in cloud-native development and distributed systems, to drive continuous improvement.
Technical Requirements
- 5-7 years of dedicated Solution Architecture experience with a focus on high-level design and API ecosystems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Deep experience with Microservices architecture and containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including serverless computing and managed database services.
- Strong knowledge of messaging systems, specifically Kafka, for event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database management systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps culture, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $220,000 per year
