Position Summary
Scalable Systems is seeking a highly experienced CyberArk Engineer for a long-term engagement in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role requires a subject matter expert with over 12 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), specifically focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) using the CyberArk suite. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise PAM infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of security for privileged accounts across various platforms including Windows, SSH, Databases, and Web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on deployment and management of CyberArk Core-PAS components, including the Digital Vault, Central Policy Manager (CPM), Privileged Session Manager (PSM), and Privileged Session Manager for SSH (PSMP).
- Manage Credential Provider (CP) and Central Credential Provider (CCP) for application password management.
- Lead complex component version upgrades and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) failover and failback procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Perform end-to-end onboarding for diverse platforms, including Windows, Unix/SSH, Databases, and Web Applications.
- Troubleshoot and refine existing Custom Connectors to maintain operational stability and security.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align security protocols with evolving business requirements and compliance standards.
- Automate PAM workflows using Application Programming Interface (API) integration.
Technical Requirements & Certifications
- Mandatory Certification: CyberArk Sentry or CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE).
- 12+ years of professional experience in IAM/PAM domains.
- Deep expertise in CyberArk Architecture and component integration within enterprise environments.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting custom connectors and resolving complex environment failures.
- Experience with HTML5 Gateway and Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA) is highly desirable.
- Functional knowledge of CyberArk Application Access Manager (AAM) and Service Account Onboarding.

You should be able to translate complex security requirements into actionable technical plans. A proactive approach to identifying security gaps and proposing architectural improvements is essential. You will be expected to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership during critical incidents or major infrastructure changes. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the organization’s most sensitive access points.
Special Requirements
CyberArk Sentry or CDE certification mandatory; 12+ years experience required.

Salary: $70 – $70 per year
