Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Salesforce Lightning Developer to join our global team. This role is critical for enhancing and implementing Salesforce systems across our retail and investment management business units within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing regional and global requirements, utilizing industry best practices to increase user adoption, and integrating Salesforce with various third-party and internal platforms to deliver a unified client ecosystem. This position requires a hands-on developer who is confident in writing code and designing scalable solutions that align with the firm’s long-term vision. The role is based in Boston, MA, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce features across the retail and investment management business.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-performing code.
- Develop custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, ensuring high performance and security.
- Deploy rapid prototyping techniques to quickly envision challenges and propose credible solutions to complex business problems.
- Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party vendors and internal systems using API integrations and RESTful services.
- Build and maintain sophisticated reports, dashboards, and automated workflows to support business operations.
- Utilize SQL and SOQL for complex data queries and database management within the Salesforce environment.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX, to ensure efficient delivery.
- Manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Apex test classes and scripts to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Provide strong written and verbal communication to stakeholders, ensuring clarity on technical designs and project progress.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of professional Salesforce Development experience in an enterprise environment.
- 5-7+ years of dedicated experience with Salesforce Lightning (LWC, Aura).
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
- Expertise in APEX, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS development.
- Solid understanding of integrating Salesforce with external systems via RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Salesforce DX).
- Active Salesforce Certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.
Special Requirements
Visa: US Citizen or Green Card only. Interview: One mandatory in-person interview in Boston. Domain: Financial industry experience required. Location: Local candidates currently on project in MA only.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
