Position Summary: SAP Development Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Development Lead to join our team in Dallas, TX. This hybrid role is critical for the implementation and optimization of modern S/4HANA ERP systems. As a Lead Developer, you will not only write high-quality code but also serve as a technical mentor, reviewing designs and logic to ensure the highest standards of performance and scalability. This is a 24-month contract engagement designed for a professional who thrives in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the technical design and implementation of custom enhancements (RICEFW objects) using ABAP/4 and SAP HANA technologies. You will be the primary point of contact for technical solution discussions, proposing robust designs that align with business goals.
- Fit-to-Standard Analysis: Actively participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops, guiding stakeholders through the capabilities of S/4HANA and identifying where customization is truly necessary versus where standard processes can be adopted.
- Full-Stack SAP Development: Develop and maintain sophisticated Fiori applications, utilizing SAPUI5, OData services, and Core Data Services (CDS) views to provide a modern user experience.
- Integration and Migration: Oversee the development of complex interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services. Manage data migration programs to ensure seamless transitions from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
- Code Optimization: Perform rigorous code reviews and performance tuning, leveraging AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and HANA-specific optimizations to ensure system efficiency.
Required Technical Expertise
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, specifically within the FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) and CI (Convergent Invoicing) modules.
- Proficiency in the SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices within an SAP context.
- Expert-level knowledge of ABAP for HANA, Eclipse IDE, and SAP Web IDE.
- Strong understanding of JSON/XML data structures and SAP HANA database management.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor, staying ahead of the SAP roadmap to drive S/4HANA adoption and innovation.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
